Knitting in pink

Yesterday I finished knitting Kemp. I knitted both sides, both handles and the flower. The striping doesnt quite match as both skeins didnt start in the same place and in both somewhere along the skein the yarn was cut and knotted back together with the colors not quite matching. I did the best I could to get the colors of the second side to match the order of the first and I think the result isnt too bad, I've just got a couple more colors on the second side. To make this bag I had 2 skeins of one color and 2 skeins of another color. I ended up using 2 skeins of one color for most of the bag and a little bit of one skein of the other color for one handle and a little bit of the sides, mostly the folder over inside part.

As mentionned above, I also knitted the flower as suggested in the flower but the result just doesnt look right, it is way too small. So I thought: "I do have these 2 flower pins that could possibly work, let me try them on!"
